Start where you are

You don’t need a full hang to begin.

Supported-hang track

Keep your feet in the picture.

Begin with a supported lean, then work through row positions and assisted hangs. The placement assessment helps you choose a starting stage that matches your current ability.

Full-hang track

Already hanging? Add structure.

Use your baseline result to set working times below your maximum. Build controlled practice with guidance on when to progress, when to repeat and when to recover.

Eight weeks is one training block—not a promise of a two-minute hang. Progress may mean less assistance, a deeper supported position, a first full hang or a longer hold.

Know what to do. Keep a record. See what changes.

01

Find your starting point.

A nine-stage placement assessment and baseline test guide you into the supported-hang or full-hang track.

02

Follow your sessions.

16 planned sessions include working-time calculations, recovery guidance and rules for progressing or repeating.

03

Track your next step.

Printable logs and a final assessment help you compare your progress. The program also covers a gradual Level 2 introduction after the two-minute milestone.

Before you start

The plan is digital. Your setup is simple.

  • Original or Black Level 1 Monkee Grips, sold separately.
  • A secure exercise anchor suitable for your chosen position.
  • A timer to record your holds.
  • Stable foot support or a resistance band if you need assistance.

A cable machine and Monkee Grip Cable Adapter are optional, not required.

A few things worth knowing.

What exactly do I receive?

One downloadable 26-page PDF training program and printable workbook, delivered electronically after purchase. It includes the placement assessment, eight-week plan and training logs. No grips or other physical equipment are included.

Can I start if I can’t hang at full bodyweight?

Yes. The supported track starts with your feet securely on the floor. The placement assessment helps you find an appropriate starting stage before moving into harder positions.

Will I reach a two-minute hang in eight weeks?

That is a training goal, not a guaranteed result. Your starting point and progress determine what you work toward. The plan gives you a next step even if the two-minute milestone takes more than one block.

Do I need Level 2 Grips?

No. Start with Original or Black Level 1 Monkee Grips. The program introduces the smaller-diameter Level 2 Grips gradually after the two-minute milestone; they are not required to begin.
